Parent Workshop: How to Support Communication: From Echolalia/Scripting to Self Generated Language

April 18 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Join us with Madalyn Hart from Hart Therapy Services.  This session is designed to understand Gestalt Language Processing (GLP), the “other” natural language development. When typical speech and communication strategies don’t work, or kids seem stuck using scripts, we can support them to freely express themselves. Discover the meaning behind scripts and strategies to expand language for GLPs.

Parent Workshops are held through Zoom.  Participants will stay muted until Q&A at the end of the presentation.  These Workshops are educational workshops for parents of children with disabilities.  Recordings will be available on our “Recorded Workshops: page within the week.
