Hospital Visits

FOCUS supports the Technology-Dependent Intensive Care Unit at Scottish Rite (the TICU). Many of those patients are trach-dependent, and we provide dinner once a month as well as snacks and other items for parents. Most of the children in the TICU are there at least 2 weeks (much longer if they are getting a new trach), so we like to help make things a little easier for their families.

Volunteer Opportunity

  • Provide a monthly dinner for families.  (There are 11 beds in the TICU, so it would be for 11 families).
  • Stock the snack cart. Bring snacks to replenish the snack cart.
  • Fill a bag with care items for the parents. This is a great co-branding opportunity*! Check the Hospital Visits Wish List for suggested items.
    • *Fill a minimum of 100 bags with care items for parents and the bags can have both the FOCUS and your company logo on it.

Volunteer Capacity - 6 volunteers per visit

Hospital Visits are Year Round
