The purpose of this workshop is to help families prepare a petition to file for the Appointment of a Guardian of an Adult. This workshop is not for those who are trying to decide if they need/want to do a guardianship, this workshop is for those who have determined that they need or want to do a guardianship for their adult child. The adult child must be diagnosed with a developmental disability (this is not for mental health guardianship).
