Parent Workshop: Caring for Yourself and Your Family: Self-Care, Setting Boundaries, and Navigating Relationships

April 22 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Join us with Kate Christman, LCSW, PMH-C.

Parents are often so focused on pouring love and care into their family, especially their children, that they lose sight of their own needs for love and care. This workshop will explore what the term self-care means, the many forms it can take, and practical tools for incorporating it into your life. We’ll take a look at why it’s so important (and hard!) to identify and communicate your own needs while caring for others. We’ll also honor and explore some of the ways in which your unique parenting journey impacts your identity, relationships, and values.

Register for Caring for Yourself

Parent Workshops are held through Zoom.  Participants will stay muted until Q&A at the end of the presentation.  These Workshops are educational workshops for parents of children with disabilities.  Recordings will be available on our “Recorded Workshops: page within the week.
