I was born with spina bifida, and through the countless hospital beds and medications, I have beat the odds... My life will change dramatically now that my family and I have a wheelchair accessible van where we can go to my appointments without waiting hours for an assistance van, or in case of emergencies, we can get to the hospital immediately.
