Parent Workshop: Questions to Ask Your Child’s School to Encourage Their Progress!

This workshop is designed to provide methods to encourage the home-school relationship. It looks into questions that families can ask the school to support their child’s learning and progress. We will explore methods for adapting the curriculum, fostering effective communication, and building a collaborative relationship with the school environment. Encouraging you to advocate for your child’s progress by engaging in their individual experiences.

  • About the Speaker: Over 14 years, Anike has worked to support families of children with special needs. Her experience spans volunteering at an orphanage in Peru and gaining a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from the University of Cambridge before building Lapapoe to further support families in caring for children with developmental and physical disabilities.

Parent Workshops are held through Zoom.  Participants will stay muted until Q&A at the end of the presentation.  These Workshops are educational workshops for parents of children with disabilities.  Recordings will be available on our “Recorded Workshops: page within the week.
