The purpose of this workshop is to help families prepare a petition to file for the Appointment of a Guardian of an Adult. This workshop is not for those who are trying to decide if they need/want to do a guardianship, this workshop is for those who have determined that they need or want to do a guardianship for their adult child. The adult child must be diagnosed with a developmental disability (this is not for mental health guardianship). Seating is limited so those in attendance will be able to get their petitions in order and be prepared to file. If you register please be mindful that we may have had to tell others they could not attend because space was full.
