Registration opened Tuesday, July 18th. Once registration is full a small waitlist will open.
Eligibility
- FOCUS Kid must be 29 and under at event date.
- Have a physical and/or developmental disabilities, including rare genetic syndromes, cerebral palsy, autism, and Down syndrome.
- Siblings 21 and under
- 2 parent/caregiver tickets per family
Fee:
- The first ticket for all households will cost $30. All other tickets will cost $20 per person and will cover admission, breakfast and parking.
- Children two and under are free!
- Meal-only tickets for $15 for seasonal pass members.
Other Info
- The Georgia Aquarium is opening early just for us at 7:30am, so you can see the fishies without the crowds! We’ll have a fabulous buffet breakfast together at 9:30am.
- Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Your tickets are not secured until your payment/ deposit for them has been received and you receive a confirmation email that you have secured tickets.
- You will only be able to register siblings 21 and under for this event.
- FOCUS has a limited number of partial scholarships available for families who qualify for scholarship funding – please mark this on your application if you are interested in a partial scholarship and upload documents.
- 3rd Party Waivers are NOT accepted for Family Activities.
- Unless Aquarium has to close for the entire day, the tickets must be used on September 17th.
- Cancelation: FOCUS will refund your event fee, minus the deposit fee for all cancellations made two weeks prior to the date of the event. Any cancelation within two weeks of event date will receive no refund.
Agenda:
7:30am | Check-in in at the Oceans Ballroom entrance from the covered parking deck from 7:30am am to 11am only. We will have your admission armbands and parking pass ready for you there!
7:30am | Doors from the Ballroom to the Aquarium open for FOCUS families only.
8:00am | Aquarium opens to the general public. (Sensory hour from 8am-9am)
9:30am | Buffet lines open for brunch in the Oceans Ballroom. If you are 3 years old or over, you must have your armband on to enter and can come in any time before the line closes at 11:30 am.
11:00am | LAST CHANCE TO ENTER THE AQUARIUM.
11:30am | The buffet ends at this time.
12:30pm | The Ballroom closes! Last chance for FOCUS guests to exit through the Ballroom to the parking deck. If you want to stay longer, you can always exit through the main doors and walk around to the parking deck.
Parking:
FOCUS pays for one vehicle per family. If you need to bring more than one vehicle that day, plan to pay $12 for the second vehicle.
